MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT 7.15PM ON THURSDAY 8th  DECEMBER 2011 AT BAPTIST CHURCH NORTH STREET WESTBOURNE

PRESENT: Cllrs V Owen D Todd R Hitchcock W Canwell N Ricketts M Papworth D Forster

1.     DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST IN ITEMS ON THE AGENDA:  none

2.    APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE: H Kell J Howard

3.   MINUTES OF THE LAST  MEETING:  minutes of meeting 10th November 2011 having been circulated were signed as a true record of the meeting
4.   MATTERS ARISING:    concerning the work by Southern Gas in East Street – Cllr Hitchcock asked if there had been any further response from either Southern Gas or WSCC Highways. It was understood that the properties involved had been kept updated by three letters. Broadband questionnaire not yet on the website.

5.   OPEN FORUM: A question was asked about a horse rider wearing a police jacket seen riding in Old Farm Lane – no information available. The whereabouts of the 20’s Plenty Flier – copies were to hand. Recycling of butter and yoghurt pots, understood that these were acceptable at the new recycling plant – unable to verify.

6.    POLICE COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER:  PCSO Colin Booker was not present. A report was read out. Phone 101 if see anything suspicious

7.   COUNTY COUNCILLOR'S COMMENTS & QUESTIONS:  Cllr Dunn was unable to attend but any questions should be emailed to him. mdunn@westsussex.gov.uk
