Westbourne Weekend Event
Groove on the Grass

 It’s back – Westbourne’s answer to Glastonbury, and this time we hope we don’t have Glastonbury-style mud.
Every two years, Westbourne Weekend takes over the school field for summer evening of laid-back fun, live music and delicious food. Even 2007’s downpour didn’t dampen the spirits of this fantastic family event.
It’s on Saturday June 27, 4pm to 10pm. Adults £7.50, five to 16-year-olds £2.50, pre-school free.
Here’s just some of what’s lined up:
·  £1 for a hog roast bap or burger
· music (including top local band The Chase) and dancing
· BBQ, hog roast, ice-cream
· footballs and games for the kids in a safe, familiar environment
· marquees, tents, gazebos (just in case)

  Don’t forget  - there’s even more fun over the weekend:
· Saturday 11am - duck race
· Sunday 2pm - treasure hunt
There will be a bar at the Groove event run by the Westbourne Club
